Your Compassionate Guide to Healing and Growth
Maybe you’re not even sure why you’re coming to counseling—something just feels off. You don’t feel like yourself, or perhaps you’ve started to notice unhealthy patterns in your life or relationships. It’s exhausting trying to figure it all out on your own, and that’s where I come in. My goal is to help you process these confusing emotions, understand your relationships better, and equip you with tools to confidently navigate life—even without my help down the road. Together, we’ll uncover your strengths, identify the support systems in your life, and help you break free from unhealthy patterns so you can rediscover your worth and rebuild connection.
Specializing in Anxiety, Trauma, and Couples Counseling
Life can be overwhelming, especially when trauma or relational conflict is part of your story. Trauma looks different for everyone, and no two experiences are the same. I’m here to walk with you, at your pace, to process what feels heavy or difficult. My approach is grounded in empathy and tailored to your unique needs, empowering you to find healing and create healthier patterns in your life.
When it comes to relationships, whether you’re dating, engaged, or married, it’s easy to feel stuck in cycles of conflict, misunderstandings, or emotional distance. Relationships can be one of the most fulfilling parts of life—but they’re also some of the hardest to navigate when things aren’t going well. In couples counseling, I help partners improve communication, rebuild trust, and create a deeper, more meaningful connection. Whether you’re working through challenges or simply looking to strengthen your bond, I provide a safe space for honest conversations and practical tools to move forward together.
Feelings like anxiety, hopelessness, or self-doubt can creep into every corner of your life, affecting relationships, work, and your sense of self. But you don’t have to face these struggles alone. Whether as an individual or as part of a couple, I’ll help you confront these challenges head-on so they no longer control you, creating space for healing, peace, and purpose.
What to Expect in Therapy with Me
I believe the most important part of counseling is the relationship between client and therapist. In our first few sessions, we’ll take time to get to know each other and explore what brought you to therapy. I’ll help you define what success in counseling looks like for you, and together, we’ll set clear, achievable goals. We’ll check in regularly on your progress, celebrating wins and adjusting course when things feel stuck.
For couples, therapy often begins with identifying the patterns that are keeping you disconnected. From there, we’ll explore what’s working, what isn’t, and how we can shift toward a healthier, more fulfilling relationship. Sessions are a space to be heard, understood, and equipped with practical tools that you can use long after therapy ends.
Therapy isn’t always easy, and some sessions might feel more challenging than others. That’s okay! Those moments are part of the process, and we’ll always circle back to your goals to remind us of how far you’ve come.
For clients who want to integrate their faith into counseling, I offer a safe space to explore the connection between mental health, relationships, and a Biblical worldview. My Christian faith shapes who I am and how I approach life, and I’m happy to incorporate this into our work together—however much or little you prefer.

My Approach to Counseling
I use evidence-based methods like:
- Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT)
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
- Trauma-Informed Therapy
- Strengths-Based Therapy
- Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for Couples
Each of these approaches is tailored to meet you where you are and help you achieve lasting change—both individually and in your relationships.
My Journey to Becoming a Therapist
My path to counseling wasn’t a straight line. I started my undergraduate career in Marketing but pivoted to Social Work during my junior year after realizing my passion for helping others could become my life’s work. I earned my B.S. in Social Work from Grove City College in 2022, followed by my Master’s in Social Work from West Chester University in 2023.
Now, as a Licensed Social Worker (LSW), I’m working toward my Clinical Social Work (LCSW) license under the supervision of Katie Bailey, M.A., LPC. Each step in my journey has shaped the therapist I am today, giving me the skills and heart to help you move forward.
Fun Facts About Me
When I’m not in the office, you can usually find me:
- Riding my horse and enjoying the outdoors
- Crafting the perfect cup of coffee (yes, it’s an art form!)
- Trying my hand at new creative projects (success varies, but it’s always fun!)
- Getting lost in a captivating book
Every day, I’m reminded what a privilege it is to hear my clients’ stories and witness their growth—both as individuals and as couples. It’s an honor to walk alongside you as you discover your potential and take steps toward healing.
