Meet Brooke Stoltzfus, LSW
Maybe you don’t even know why you are coming to counseling, but something feels off. You might not feel like yourself, or you may recognize unhealthy patterns in your life. Working through these feelings alone can feel daunting and almost impossible. I am here to help you process these confusing emotions and give you the tools so you can face them without my help later down the road. Together, we can examine your strengths and support system so that you won’t be seeing me forever! My desire is for each client to see their given worth and break unhealthy patterns.
Anxiety & Trauma Counseling for Teens & Young Adults
I am passionate about working with people who have experienced trauma of any kind. Trauma can appear differently in each person’s life, and I am here to help work through any difficult experience in a way that is most beneficial to you. I will meet you where you are, and together we can work to bring healing to your life.
Anxiousness, hopelessness, depression, and self-deprecation can take root in us and cause dysfunction in our relationships, work, and daily life. Instead of burying these problems, I will help you confront them so we can weed them out of your life.
Therapy Sessions with Brooke
My relationship with my clients is the most important factor in counseling! For our first couple of sessions, we can spend time getting to know each other and what brings you into counseling. Coming to counseling can be a challenging, and even confusing process, so we will discuss what it will look like when you feel like you’ve reached your goals. Periodically, we can review these goals and check in how you’re feeling about them. During the therapy process, some sessions may feel more difficult than others, and you may even feel stuck. Discussing your goals can remind us of the progress you’ve made along the way.
Throughout my education, I have come to realize the importance of blending mental health with a Biblical worldview. My Christian faith is the lens I use to view the world and shapes who I am. At my client’s request, our sessions can include the intersection of faith and mental health; we can incorporate faith as little or as much as the client prefers.
I love spending time with teens and young adults, although hearing anyone’s story is a privilege. My ultimate joy in counseling is getting to know my clients and their story while seeing them grow into their created potential!

My Background
I started my undergraduate career in the field of Marketing, but switched to Social Work my junior year when I finally found how my passion for helping others can be a profession. In 2022, I earned my B.S. in Social Work from Grove City College. In 2023, I earned my Master’s in Social Work from West Chester University. Both universities provided me with unique field experience that impacts how I approach therapy today.
I am a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) accruing hours for my Clinical Social Work (LCSW) license. My time at Lime Tree Counseling is supervised by Katie Bailey, M.A., LPC.
After hours, you can find me riding my horse, making exquisite coffee, trying a new craft project, or reading a captivating new book!
