Hannah Mosser

I help hurting people find healing through grief counseling,

trauma therapy & EMDR, & relationship counseling.

Meet Hannah Mosser – Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania

Grief Counseling, Anxiety Therapy & Couples Counseling

I have ample experience working with individuals who are grieving — whether it be the death of a loved one, the loss of a relationship, or recognizing the ways in which their own selfishness (through addiction or otherwise) has caused pain to those around them. Often times when you’re walking through grief it feels isolating and like you are the only one that knows the depth of your despair and heartache. I want to meet you in that. I want to validate that your feelings, while deeply personal, are not unrelatable and do not have to be isolating. There is healing even from grief, and your grief will become something different from what you are experiencing right now.

In addition to grief, many individuals have experienced traumatic events or circumstances that continue to impact their lives on a daily basis. Sometimes, in clients reflection of trauma, there will be a distinct before or after; they identify that by or through x circumstance, a marked change in themselves occurred. If this describes you, or some of your experience, please reach out. There is healing from the pain that has happened to or around you.

I deeply enjoy working with couples as they are experiencing challenges in their relationships and are desiring healing and reconciliation, but are struggling to do this on their own. I spend ample time in couples sessions working through difficulties that they are experiencing together, as well as strengthening communication within the relationship.

Lastly, one of my greatest joys in counseling is working with clients who are exploring their identity and purpose. With life and circumstances constantly changing and evolving, it can be easy to get caught up in the busyness of it all and be left feeling like you’ve lost yourself, lost your passion, lost your purpose. I want to help you find meaning where you are. Whether you are a teenager, young adult, or (less young of) an adult, it is important to know yourself and what you are bringing to the table. If this is you, I would be honored to spend time discussing your story, the moments in life that cause you to feel the most alive, and how you view yourself and your role in the lives of those around you.

Hannah’s Treatment Focus

Hannah works with clients residing in Pennsylvania

I get excited about setting goals and meeting them. In your first session, we will spend time getting to know one another and we will set treatment goals together, which will be tangible and something that I will work with you on to achieve. We will reassess these goals as your treatment progresses, whether that is adjusting the goal or crossing it off the list as something that you have mastered. We will then either set new treatment goals or we will part ways if you find that you have received all the assistance that you need. I am all about helping you get to where you are wanting to be!

In addition to this, I really love Jesus and He is what gives me hope for our hurting world and for my own life. I completely respect that this is not everyone’s worldview; we will bring Jesus, faith, and Spirituality into your session as much or as little as you prefer. I will also note that often times it can feel like the Church wants to handout “easy” answers. I assure you that this is not how I roll and I will gladly meet you in whatever difficult questions or circumstances connected to your faith that you may have, no matter how challenging it is to be asking or navigating those questions.

Hannah’s Background

In 2014 I graduated from Multnomah University, in Portland, Oregon, with my Bachelors in English. I took a year off of school before moving to the East Coast, where I pursued my Masters in Counseling from Eastern University, graduating in 2018. I have worked with individuals in the criminal justice system and seeking treatment for healing, as well as deepening an understanding of the impact their choices have had on others.

When I am not working, I enjoy spending time reading, running, roaming to new places, drinking coffee, and spending time with my husband.
