Meet Rachel Lee, MA
Am I the only one who feels this way? Am I abnormal for having these thoughts and feelings? When we’ve lived long enough we realize that life might not go as planned even if we may have done all the right things and followed a plan. Coming to counseling may not have been on your bucket list and I’m happy you’re considering it. Whether something traumatic has happened in your adult life or broken relationships are causing you to reflect on your childhood, I can help you process your trauma and emotions so that you can have healthier relationships with loved ones.
Trauma & Grief Counseling for Teens & Adults
I work with older children and adults to navigate the complexities of life. Through a trauma focused approach we will help you navigate the challenges surrounding you so you will have a more balanced and healthy life. I specialize in grief and loss, parent child relationships, and cross cultural identity issues.
Counseling Sessions with Rachel
Each person’s journey through life is unique, and what you’re experiencing is part of your individual path. Seeking counseling or therapy can be uncomfortable but it’s a courageous step towards self-awareness and growth. Many people find therapy helpful in navigating life’s challenges, whether they’re dealing with trauma, relationship issues, or simply seeking a better understanding of themselves.
Remember, you’re not alone in your journey, and seeking help is a positive step towards healing and personal growth. My counseling room is your safe container for processing things you may have held onto for years.
My Christian faith is interwoven into who I am. I am able to provide Christian counseling and allow my clients to speak as much or as little about their faith as they would like.
I graduated with a Masters in Psychology from John Jay College in 2012 and a Masters in Counseling from Westminster Theological Seminary in 2015. I’m working to accrue my hours for my Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) credential. My work at Lime Tree Counseling is supervised by Nate Bailey, MA, LPC.
During my leisure time, I enjoy outdoor activities with my kids, whether we’re cycling or gathering around a fire. I also like to cook, especially when it’s an opportunity to share delicious meals with friends and family. After a good meal, some friendly competition over board games or sports are some ways I enjoy spending free time.
